SOME SEINE
IRIS TOULIATOU

December 30, 2017 from 3.05pm - 5.27am (moonrise / moonset)

with Maya Tounta, Natasha Papadopoulou and Dimitris Papadatos

Some Seine will begin at moonrise on the last Friday of the year, and it will end at moonset the following night, on the final Saturday. It can be thought of as a selection of hours, or rooms, infested by wild weather. Domesticated wetness will be brewing in sequence, inside the window and below the ceiling. Heat will be collecting inside the visitors' lungs to cure known, and unknown fears. Through a number, she will relay her monologue presence, and we will hear her everywhere. Wind will blow, but the hybernating leaves on the balconies outside will remain still, or recline indifferently on the railing.
